What is Signal From Earth?

What if fictional characters could react to real-world content...

and your brand was part of the show?

That’s the premise behind Signal from Earth, the animated web series I’m developing. In this series, aliens observe Earth’s internet, turning satire, storytelling, and creator culture into a living, adaptable media format.

It’s not just a show.
It’s a space where creators, brands, and real-world culture collide. Imagine your brand blended into these characters’ wild conversations, or sparking playful debates that engage audiences in a whole new way.

At first, I wasn’t so sure about this concept.
But after releasing the first short on YouTube, I instantly regretted it… I mean, I actually got roasted by my own characters—just because I hadn’t posted in a while! ok I was busy creating something useful...

Then an other let down...

I had designed ByteBot, this kind of AI-driven robot, and I thought it would be well-organized and a helpful assistant aboard the ship.

But no, apparently that robot is watching very questionable cartoons on YouTube. And honestly, I didn’t plan any of that…

Look at this and tell me if you think this is the kind of thing a robot is supposed to watch… I don’t think so! Times have changed, and we’d better get with it.

But let’s not despair, these guys do make sense sometimes. The following bit of conversation was recorded between ByteBot and Capthec, apparently talking about human environmental issues. I guess it’s more useful than making fun of my posting habits… see for yourself:

ByteBot reflects on the bizarre ways humans poison themselves. Not that funny, but at least that comment makes sense.

 I’ll update this post later, because this whole thing got me confused… I lost myself—or maybe there was never a self in the first place.
