Bytebot, the trusty assistant, returns from the Wuburger coffee station holding a steaming cup of hot coffee, accompanied by his two imaginary dragon friends.

Bytebot is one of the main characters of Signal from Earth, the webseries I’m creating.

Aboard a pirate spaceship, assisting Captain Hec, Bytebot picks up Earth's internet network and discovers… us humans.
That's right: fictional characters watching, roasting, and trying to make sense of our real-world content.

Since our way of life doesn’t always make sense to them, Bytebot and Hec often argue about what they see online, sometimes leading to total chaos aboard the ship.

Bytebot’s Imaginary Friends

Although Bytebot is a highly rational bot, he watches some very questionable cartoons on YouTube.

Nested Cartoon: A cartoon character… watching cartoons! 

Bytebot loves these silly cartoons so much, he often imagines them even during his duties.
Some RPG-style dragons are constantly floating through his memory, even while serving coffee to CaptHec.

Expermenting with 2.5 effect in Davinci Resolve

To give you a better idea of what the Wuburger would feel like, I experimented with a 2.5D effect to simulate a 3D experience on a flat image.
